This is a one day practical training in facial massage techniques. 

There is an anatomy and physiology section which must be completed in advance. I will send you the manual when you book in and you will need to return your answers to the questions in advance of the practical training. 

This training is suitable for those with no prior massage training.

We will go through techniques for massaging the face, chest, upper arms, shoulders and neck, as well as look at acupressure and reflex points of the face. We weave in energy healing as well as myofascial release for muscles of the face. 

We also learn how to use the jade roller to further release the facial muscles. 

We hold a huge amount of tension in the face as the face has all the muscles we use for expressions in daily life. 

Learning to release these muscles regularly literally allows us to release emotional tension from the emotions connected with our facial expressions. 

The face is also always exposed to the elements in a way that the rest of the body is not so it needs a little extra nourishment to the layers of the skin, to combat effects of sin and weather damage. 

The result of this massage technique is the feeling of ease and well being, that sensation of letting go and stress relief as well as the face itself becoming radiant. The cells become oxygenated. the dead skin cells removed and the client is left

feeling firmer in the face and more balanced in the mind and emotions.
